Euroleague Basketball Final Four to be held in May 2025

For the first time in history, the tournament will leave Europe and will be held in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, in picturesque Abu Dhabi. Traditionally, several cities applied, but the Euroleague chose the Asian city. Moreover, as the tournament organizers report, if everyone likes everything in the UAE, then Abu Dhabi will take the right to host the next two Final Fours - in 2026 and 2027.

According to several media outlets, Abu Dhabi will pay the Euroleague 50 million euros to host the 2025 Final Four, and immediately discussed the possibility of further cooperation in the coming years. The Etihad Arena has repeatedly hosted prestigious tournaments, including mixed martial arts. It has a convenient infrastructure and an impressive capacity of eighteen thousand spectators. The stadium is no stranger to hosting basketball: it has hosted the last six matches of the NBA Global Games, and before that, America has met the national teams of Serbia and Australia in friendly matches.
